Gerald A. "Jerry" Stevens, born 1939 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, was the son of Milton Bernard (1908-1976) and Flossie Catherine (Kissee) (1912-1993) Stevens.  Jerry was a 1957 graduate of Okemos High School and an US Army veteran.

Stevens - Jerry A. Stevens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton B. Stevens of Mason, has been promoted to specialist forth class as a member of the 24th infantry division in Germany.

Jerry married and lived in the Williamston area for many years.  He also had a winter home in Florida where he died 2 March 2014.  Interment was in the military cemetery, Florida National Cemetery, Sumter County.

Gerald "Jerry" A. Stevens, 74, formerly of Williamston, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Lakeland, FL. He was born in Lansing, MI and was a graduate of Okemos High school. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Flossie (Kissee) Stevens, his brother Jack E. Stevens and sister JoAnn Bell-Hein. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Norma-Jean Stevens and seven children, Mark Stevens, Mike (Nieka Morrison) Stevens, Sue Anne (Leo) Setty, Shawn (Marc) Peck, Loreen (Ferg) Barton, Greg (Amy) Stevens and Jennifer (Wayne) Tomita. He was blessed with 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. All of whom will miss the special man that he was. He will be interned at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
