Sharon Kay Loudenslager (Severcool) - Class Of 1961

Sharon Kay Loudenslager, daughter of Clare (1921-1985) and Flossie M. "Ginger" (Salmon) (1918-1998) Loudenslager, was born 17 December 1943 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  She graduated in 1961 from Okemos High School and married Jake Savercool.  Sharon died 12 December 2001 North Port, Sarasota County, Florida.  She was interred Rosehill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Eaton County, Michigan.

Age 57, died Wednesday, December 12, 2001.  Born December 17, 1943 in Lansing, the daughter of Clare and Ginger (Salmon) Loudenslager.  Sharon was an Okemos High School graduate, class of 1961.  She was formerly employed at the Eaton Stamping Co. in Eaton Rapids and retired from Michigan State University.  Her greatest love were her grandchildren and her closest and best friend, her husband, Jake.  Sharon enjoyed traveling, walks on the beach and to have fun in everything she did.  Preceding her in death were her parents.  Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Jake; 3 children, Jodi (David) Clough of Houghton Lake, Ginger Richardson of Eaton Rapids and Jamie Savercool of Seattle, WA; 4 grandchildren, Chelsea and Brenin Richardson, Garrett and Gavin Savercool; 2 sisters, Charmaine Loudenslager of Livonia and Dawn (Ron) McDaniel of North Port, FL; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 8 at 11 a.m. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with Rev. Stephen Klink, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery in Eaton Rapids.
