Robert Clarence Randall, son of Clarence (1903-1994) and Anna (Pischel) (1899-1982) Randall, was born 26 February 1927, Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  He graduated in 1945 from Okemos High School.  Robert served for a short time in the US Army but due to an accident was honorably discharged.

On 8 August 1947, Wayne County, Michigan, Robert married Jeanne Allene "Jean" Gherman.  The couple were divorced 5 August 1949 but remarried 6 August 1951, Lansing.  Robert and Jean remained together until Robert's death 7 March 2003, Ingham County.
