KAREN SUE RHINESS class of 1982, 2147 Butternut Dr. Okemos, Age 18, died in Valparaiso, Indiana. Miss Rhiness was born in French Camp, CA. She was a 1982 graduate of Okemos High School, a freshman at Valparaiso University, and a member of the Okemos Community Church.

Surviving are her parents, Dr. George E. and Elaine E. Rhiness; 2 sisters, Debra Lynn and Kimberly Anne; grandmothers, Mrs. Gertrude Elder of Deerfield, MI and Mrs. Velda Rhiness of Grand Blanc, MI.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m. at the Okemos Community Church with the Rev. Dr. John Cermak, Pastor officiating. Private interment at East Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday 7-9 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman East Chapel, East Lansing.
