Hero, Son, Brother, Marine. No matter how you regarded Zac, it was his smile and his sincere caring for anyone that made an instant and lasting impression.
Zac served proudly in Afghanistan and Iraq during his active service in the Marines. He recently continued his service with the Army National Guad while finishing his bachelor's degree in Athens, GA. His ultimate goal had always been to be a police officer.
Zac's light seemed it would go on forever. Without any goodbye, his battle with PTSD caused him to end his own life.
The funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing.
