Schreiber, Louise McEva "Weezy" Kalamazoo, formerly of Okemos Weezy was born on March 28, 1988, the child of James Schreiber and Leslee Cothran, and passed away at the age of 28. Louise graduated from Okemos High School Class of 2006 and went on to graduate from Western Michigan University, School of Education in 2010. Weezy's first passion was cooking. Louise wore the motto "Cook to Live - Live to Cook". She also loved music, dancing, playing the drums, bacon and most of all, sandwiches. Weezy was a kind, selfless, giving person and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Surviving to cherish her memory are her parents, James (Kenda) Schreiber, and Leslee Cothran; brothers, Austin (Nikki) Schreiber, and Stuart (Katie) Schreiber; grandmother, Frances Cothran; grandfather, Andrew (Anne) Cothran. An informal "Weezy-Style" Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 12, 2016 from 1-4 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave. East Lansing, MI. The family is encouraging you to bring memories to share. In lieu of flowers or contributions please take time to enjoy your favorite sandwich.
