Clyde H. Raymond - Class Of 1934

Clyde H. Raymond, son of Charles Hartman (1891-1943) and Margaret (Morrison) (1895-?) Raymond, was born 28 June 1916, Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  Clyde graduated in 1934 from Okemos High School.  He married Selma Mary Hyman 26 January 1938, Okemos, Ingham County. 

Clyde and Selma had 4 daughters.  Unfortunately baby Charlotte Lee, born in 1944, died 16 July 1944.  Clyde and Selma celebrated 31 years of marriage before his sudden death 5 January 1970.  Selma, born 19 October 1910, died 20 January 2005.  Clyde and Selma were interred Deepdale Memorial Park, Eaton County, Michigan near their baby daughter, Charlotte Lee.

CLYDE H. RAYMOND

Clyde H. Raymond, 53, of 1621 Beal, died unexpectedly Monday in a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of Lansing, he was a member of UCT and employed at White Motors.

Surviving are his wife, Selma M.; three daughters, Mrs. Larry Streelman of Millard, Neb.; Mrs. John Bloswick of Cheboygan and Miss Sandra Raymond of Lansing; his mother, Mrs. John Matters of Miamisburg, Ohio; and two brothers, Donald of Dimondale and Richard of Mt. Vernon, Wash.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home with burial in Deepdale Memorial Park.
