Helen Phoebe Cudworth, daughter of Louis Appollos (1887-1956) and Iva Louise (Daniels) (1890-1949) Cudworth, was born 22 September 1912 Okemos, Ingham County, Michigan. Helen was an accomplished pianist and attended Lansing School of Music. She graduated from Okemos High School in 1930.
On 25 January 1933 in Lansing, Ingham County, Helen, a "musician," age 20, wed Norman J. Fink (1911-2001), "salesman," age 21. The marriage ended in uncontested divorce 27 January 1937 on grounds of "extreme & repeated cruelty." Helen married Nolan Bishop 27 March 1937 in Okemos. Nolan, born 19 October 1914 St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan, died 6 June 1980 Lake, Roscommon County, Michigan. Helen died 14 February 2007. Nolan and Helen are interred under one headstone at Glendale Cemetery, Okemos.
