Per Charlotte Byers, Doug died of Lou Gehrigs disease in 1990. Doug, born 26 February 1947, died 4 April 1990. He was a US Navy veteran. Doug was interred Deepdale Memorial Park, Eaton County, Michigan. Survived by parents-in-law, Joseph and Catherine Epling; brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Livia), Tom, Karen, David, James (Glenda), Annette (David) Hall, Kevin (Tammy) and Bryan; loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and host of loving friends. Doug was employed by United Parcel Service, retiring in December 1989 after 15 years of service. He was a member of St. Casimir Parish, World Wide Marriage Encounter, and V.F.W. Post #701. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Casimir Church with Fr. Raymond Rademacher and Fr. Roger Prokop as Concelebrants. A Vigil Service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday in the Tiffany Funeral Home where visitation will be Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. Pallbearers will be Dean Olsen, Lou Tallarico, Peter Houk, Mike Hardy, Phil Wilcox and Roger Gross. |
