Arnold Gene "Mac" McManamon, son of Glen (1892-1965) and Ida M. (Meirs) (1897-1940) McManamon, was born 2 August 1921 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. He graduated in 1939 from Okemos High School. Mac was a high school track stand out with a :54.3 in the quarter mile.
Mac wed Lois M. Garrison (1926-1999) 7 June 1941 Lansing. The couple had a daughter. They were divorced 31 January 1946 Ingham County. Mac married Harriet Beverly "Beverly" King 3 August 1946 District of Columbia.
Mac's career in the US Air Force took him all over the world and included both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. At his father's death in 1965 he was ranked as a USAF Major and lived in California. His career retirement rank was Lieutenant Colonel. Mac and Beverly lived their retirement years in Florida. Mac died 26 July 1986 Broward County, Florida.
