Florence May Pennell, daughter of Marshal Sherman (1909-1997) and Daisy Mae (Retzloff) (1910-1981) Pennell, was born 13 October 1927, Michigan.  She graduated in 1945 from Okemos High School.  Florence married Robert T. Conway 7 June 1947, Lansing,  Ingham County, Michigan.

Robert, born 17 June 1922, was a World War II Army veteran.  He died 28 November 1971.  According to his newspaper obituary Robert was survived by 7 children.  No wife was listed in the obituary.  Robert was interred Roseland Memorial Gardens, Jackson County, Michigan.

Florence died 12 June 1984, Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan.  No obituary could be located.  She was interred also in Roseland Memorial Gardens but her headstone was engraved with the surname of White, "Florence M. White."
