Thelma E. White, daughter of Charles (1882-1982) and Nellie I. (Rogers) (1891-1974), was born about 1919 in Ingham County, Michigan. She graduated from Okemos High School in 1937. Thelma married Robert Kendall "Kendall" Watkins 29 July 1939 in Lansing, Ingham County.

LANSING COUPLE TO WED SATURDAY
The marriage of Kendall Watkins of Lansing to Miss Thelma White of Okemos will take place at First Evangelical church Saturday evening at 8 o'clock. Both are graduates of Okemos high school and are employed in Lansing.
The Rev. Raymond R. Brown, newly appointed pastor of the local church, will officiate, using the single ring ceremony. This will be his first wedding ceremony performed in Lansing. Mrs. Max Holloway will be the soloist and Mrs. Raymond R. Brown, bachelor of music, will play the wedding march. Reception will follow the ceremony in the church parlors.
Kendall, born 31 May 1917 Michigan, was a Navy veteran of World War II. He died 12 August 2008 San Diego County, California. Thelma died, date unknown, in California.
Thelma's parents also moved to California and died there. Charles and Nellie were interred Eternal Hills Memorial Park, San Diego County.
