Greg Allen Young, son of David N., Sr. (1920-2013) and Shirley Ann (Brown) (1921-2005) Young, was born 19 August 1946 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.  His family moved to the greater Lansing area in 1950 and Greg graduated from Okemos High School in 1964.  Greg died 21 October 2004 in Ingham County, Michigan.

Born August 19, 1946 in Lansing; died October 21, 2004 [Ingham Regional Medical Center, Greenlawn Campus, Lansing], at the age of 58.  Greg decided to make a career change late in his life and the opportunity existed at LCC to pursue the Information Industry as it pertained to Business and Academics.  Surviving are his parents, David and Shirley Young and brothers, David Young Jr. and Roger Young, all of Lansing.  The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, on Thursday, October 28, from 6-8 p.m.
