Kenneth Wayne Hartsuff - Class Of 1930

Kenneth Wayne Hartsuff, son of Fay Herbert (1891-1967) and Hazel Dell (Fineout) (1892-1973), was born 14 November 1912 Stockbridge, Ingham County, Michigan.  He graduated from Okemos High School in 1930.  On 6 August 1938 he married Dawn Oris Hemingway in Lansing, Ingham County.  Dawn, born 2 December 1916, died 39 November 1991 In Shiawassee County, Michigan.  Kenneth died 11 May 1976 Owosso, Shiawassee County.  Kenneth and Dawn were interred Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan.

Age 63, died Tuesday morning in Owosso Memorial Hospital after a short illness.  Funeral services will be held at the Houghton Chapel, Thursday, May 13 at 1 p.m. rev. Claude Ridley, officiating.  Burial in Maple Grove cemetery, Ovid.  Masonic services will be held Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  He was a graduate from the Okemos High School.  He worked and lived in Lansing fot the Lawrence Baking Co.  In 1947 he moved to Ovid to own and operate Ken's Market.  He is survived by his wife Dawn; 2 daughter, Janet Hartsuff and Mrs. Barbara Hale of Jackson; 2 sons, Douglas and Jeffrey Hartsuff of Ovid; 3 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Mrs. Isabell Miller of Mason, Mrs. Valeita McClelland of California, Mrs. Fayadelle Hixon of Lansing, Mrs. Wilma Martin of Lansing; 3 brothers, Paul Hartsuff of Grand Rapids, Robert and Richard Hartsuff of East Lansing.
