Margaret Mary "Meg" O'Donnell, daughter of Robert (1914-1975) and Mari Lou (Herrold) (1927-2009) O'Donnell, was born 29 July 1959, Mason, Ingham County, Michigan.  Meg's father was a World War Army veteran.

Meg graduated in 1977 from Okemos High School.  She married Brian Buikema and they celebrated 21 years together.  Meg died 2 June 2007, Ottawa County, Michigan.  She was interred, near her parents, Springport Cemetery, Jackson County, Michigan.

MARGARET MARY "MEG" O'DONNELL-BUIKEMA

HUDSONVILLE, MI

Age 47, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at her home.  Meg was born July 29, 1959 in Mason, MI to Robert and MariLou O'Donnell.  Meg graduated from Okemos High School in 1977 and graduated with high honors from MSU School of Education in 1992.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert O'Donnell in 1975, and her brother, Patrick Raymond O'Donnell, in 2006.  She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Brian Buikema; daughter, Kate; son, Tom; mother MariLou Pych; siblings, Craig O'Donnell, Mark and Jan O'Donnell; Phyllis O'Donnell Vassalle, Matt and Julie O'Donnell, Bridget and Mark Chandler, Susan and Dimitri Logothetis, Jacqueline O'Donnell; parents-in-law, Edward and Dorcas Buikema; in-laws, Beth and Ray Winslow, Dirk and Dawn Buikema; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 515 E. Knight St., Eaton Rapids.  Burial will be in Springport Cemetery.
