Peter C. Cummins, 65 of Lansing, MI, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Rivera Beach, Singer Island, FL and Okemos, MI went with the angels on the 1st of November, after complications from surgery. He is survived by his first and last love, Emily A. Cummins [Davis] [re-united in 2005], his daughter Samantha C. Panos [Peter] of Boston, MA, Sheila Purdy [Dyke] and brother Charles Cummins [Anne] both of California. Many cousins, nieces and nephews; step daughter Kari Mole [Scott], 4 step grand children, 1 step grand daughter. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ruth Cummins, and brother Harry B. Cummins.
He was a Millworks Specialist at Home Depot [West Lansing] and also in Jupiter, FL.; previously worked as a commercial artist which included architectural renderings.
Peter graduated Cranbrook [prep school] in Bloomfield Hills, MI 1963; Parsons College, Iowa in 1965; U.S. Navy Electronics School 1970 Millington, TN, Pensacola and Milton, FL.; and Ringling School of Art, Sarasota, FL in 1973. He learned piano at an early age, formed his own band "Redeemers...[the number would vary, depending on how many were in the band at the time." and recorded a few songs. He loved art: watercolors, oils, etc, still photography, poetry, canoe-ing, sports car rallies [esp his MGB in Fl], fishing, golf and swimming, and SCUBA diving ... he dove in the Atlantic off the coast of Florida, and dove in the Azores.

Peter Clark Cummins, son of Charles Fitch Cummins Sr. and wife, Harriet Moore Cummins, was born 6 July 1945, Michigan and died 1 November 2010 in Ohio. Pete attended Okemos High for only a short period of time but then graduated in 1963 from Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills. He was a Viet Nam veteran, having served in the United States Navy, was married and employed as a Home Depot millworks specialist at the time of his death. Pete was inured in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.
