He is survived by his mother Karen Jackson (Vic), father William Ballor (Pam), sister Jody Burgess (Robert), step-siblings Vic Jackson Jr. (Mary), Kevin Jackson (Laurie), Wendy Wallander (James), Kelly Jackson, Gene Jackson (Kelly), Robin Jackson (Kim), Kerry Jackson (Tammy), Staci Renteria (Dan), grandfather Russell Ballor, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. Jeff had many relatives, friends and acquaintances in Michigan, Indiana and Arizona who love him and will miss him greatly.

Jeff was the owner of Computer Redicare, a computer repair business located in East Lansing, Michigan. He was a graduate of Okemos High School and held certifications from Lansing Community College in personal computer operation, networking and repair. Jeff lived in Arizona for a number of years before returning to the Lansing area in 2001.

Jeff was a hot rod guy, who also loved riding dirt bikes, road bikes and BMX bikes. He enjoyed camping, boating, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, auto mechanics, home maintenance, light construction and cooking. He loved conquering computers and all things technical. He was a gamer and a rock music lover. Jeff never met a challenge he wouldn't tackle as long as he could find a how-to article or YouTube video. He loved a good party with friends and a good meal and gathering with family. He loved his cat, Marvel, who is being placed in a safe and loving home with friends.

Jeff was a loving and generous soul who touched many people deeply. His wit, charm, character and ability to love without reserve will be greatly missed. Most of all, it was the way he made us feel. With words and gestures, he had a way of spinning any story into a hilarious event. Laughter was always present if Jeff was part of a conversation. We will forever be grateful for the gift of love and joy that Jeff gave us.

RIP and Rock On, Jeff. We love you beyond words!
