Kelda Brittain Monroe

Kelda Brittian Monroe, daughter of George Ervin and Betty Rose (Hanks) Monroe, was born 9 November 1970 in Southfield, Oakland County, Michigan.  She succumbed to acute lymphatic leukemia 28 April 1989 in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Age 18, died April 28, 1989.  Beloved daughter of Betty Rose Monroe and George Ervin Monroe.  Born November 9, 1970 in Southfield, MI.  Brittian lived in Indian Village, Detroit and Grosse Pointe Park.  She moved to Okemos in 1984 and graduated from Okemos High School in 1988.  She was attending Lansing Community College.  Besides her parents she is survived by her twin brother, Lonn Sanders Monroe; brothers, David Christopher Monroe, George Kevin Monroe,; step-mother, Susan K. Monroe; and step-brother, Lee F. Schroeder and step-sister, Dana S. Schroeder; aunts and uncles, JoAnna Hanks and David Pitts, Angie Atkinson, Anna Collins, Aetna Monroe, Azilee and Ira Monroe, Betty and Itrel Monroe; grandparents, Dorothy and David Hanks.  A memorial service will be held on May 8, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at Okemos Community Church.
