Robert Edward Powelson, son of William Robert (1951-1994) and Betty Jean (Wright) Powelson, was born 26 September 1954, Mason, Ingham County, Michigan.  He attended Okemos High School with the class of 1974.

Robert died 23 August 2009, Cameron County, Texas.  He was interred Maple Grove Cemetery, Mason.

ROBERT EDWARD POWELSON

HARLINGEN, TX

Age 54, passed away August 23, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen.

Robert was born September 26, 1954 in Mason, Michigan to William Robert and Betty Jean Powelson.  He attended Okemos High School and was a member of the United Brethren Church.  Robert enjoyed fishing, golf and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Robert Powelson and his brothers, Ronald Lynn Powelson and Randy Lee Powelson.

Robert is survived by his mother, Betty Jean Powelson; his siblings, Allen Robert Powelson, Richard Reid Powelson, Rochelle June Powelson, and Renee Luella Powelson; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home in Lansing, Michigan on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mason, Michigan on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10 a.m.
