Bonnie Kay Seeley (Miller)

Bonnie Kay Seeley, daughter of Ivan (1915-2002) and Pauline (McCoy) (?) Seeley, was born 9 April 1941 Bath, Clinton County, Michigan.  Bonnie's father was a survivor of the famous but tragic Bath School Disaster of 1927.  Bonnie attended Okemos High School with the Class of 1959.  She married 13 June 1959 Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan LeRoy Wayne Miller.  LeRoy, born 6 September 1938 Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan, died 3 January 1998 Henderson, Clark County, Nevada.

Bonnie died 18 May 2014, Roscommon County, Michigan.

Bonnie Kay Miller

Bonnie Kay Miller, 72, Prudenville, died May 18, 2013, at her home.

A family memorial service will be held at the family home. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Miller may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel, handled arrangements.

She was born on April 9, 1941, in Bath, the daughter of Ivan and Pauline (McCoy) Seeley. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family. She moved to Houghton Lake with her family six years ago from Las Vegas. She was married on June 13, 1959, in Lansing to LeRoy W. Miller. Her husband preceded her in death in 1998. She enjoyed crafting.

Preceding her in death besides her husband were her brother, Jimmy; sister, Evelyn; and her parents.

Surviving Mrs. Miller are her son, Timothy (Elizabeth) Miller of Prudenville; granddaughter, Tasha Miller of Las Vegas, NV; four sisters, JoAnn Travis of Evart, Barbara Penner of Florida, Louise Thompson of Mississippi and Lorraine Renfro of South Carolina; and brother, Raymond Seeley of Bath.

Bonnie did not graduate with our class, but we will always remember her.
