MILESTONES
50 years has brought many changes, achievements, happiness, success and some sadness.
1961 - getting married for 33 years.
1962 - moved from Michigan to Bemidji, Minnesota.
1963 -the start of my family, Aaron, born in April.
1964 - moved back to Michigan, first to the home I grew up in, then to Dewitt.
1965 - my first daughter, Shelba,bom in February and then a son, Edward, in December (deceased).
1968 - my second daughter, Veronica, born in October.
1970 - my third daughter, Naomi, born in January.
1972 - moved back to Minnesota.
1976 - left the Midwest to relocate in Washington State. What a memorable trip it was!
1978 - resumed my education to receive my GED and associate arts degree in cosmetology.
1981 - graduation from college.
1982 - opened my own beauty salon.
1995 - remarried, took my first cruise and my first honeymoon, and semi-retired.
1996-2001 - took several more cruises to fun places like Mexico, Jamaica, and traveled some of the U.S.
2001 - began 12 years of snow birding by buying a winter home in Mesa, Arizona.

Present: My husband, now 84 years, consumes a lot of my time as caregiver. I am an employee
of the Mukilteo School District in Everett, WA.
- Para-educator substitute.
- Always busy with my family and grandchildren of which I have a grandson, three
granddaughters, six step-grandchildren and one great-grandson.
- Volunteer at school as needed.
