Philip C. Newhouse, son of Arthur Leslie (1885-1948) and Pauline R. (Trapp) (1888-1969) Newhouse, was born 30 October 1911 Michigan.  He graduated 1930 from Okemos High School.  During his senior year he was the 1930 Tomahawk year book circulation manager.

Philip wed Doris Mary Hunt.  He died 11 June 1972 Ferndale, Oakland County, Michigan.  Doris, born 12 July 1913, died 5 January 2005 Kent County, Michigan.
