Larry Eugene Furgala

AUGUST 3, 1955 – JANUARY 29, 2023

Larry Eugene Furgala class of 1973, age 67, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Larry was born on August 3, 1955 in Lansing, the son of Edwin Jerome and Virginia Alice (Smith) Furgala.

Larry was a simple man. He loved nature. Larry got a kick from working in the yard, and he loved the thrill of hunting. Larry also loved working on cars, so much he made it his career as a mechanic. He loved his family and loved providing for them. He married his love, Betty Jones, and they created a home filled with love, family, and laughter.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services at this time.

Larry is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Fawn Furgala; granddaughters, Shy'ann, Jasmine, Brianna, and Haily; his great granddaughters, E'Marrie and Alayna; brothers; and many other loving family and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Furgala Sr. and Virginia Furgala; his son, Larry Furgala Jr.; and his brother, Edwin Furgala Jr.
