This listing of students appears to be Kindergarten through 8th grade, when high school students would go to larger communities to continue their education, including Lansing's Central School.

"My great grandfather was in this class - Vernal Proctor. And he later married his classmate Minnie Case - a great grandmother I knew when I was young. The Proctors settled in Okemos in the 1840s when there were only 3 homes in the area."        Ron Wheeler OHS1969
