Norma Jean Aldrich, daughter of Orson Maynard and Bertha (Edgar) Aldrich, was born 1924 in Okemos. She graduated from Okemos High School in 1942. Norma married Robert W. Wieland 13 June 1943 in South Bath Methodist Church, Clinton, Michigan. Robert, son of Lewis William and Grace L. (Box) Wieland, was born 6 February 1925 Mason, Ingham County, Michigan. He died, after a long illness, 28 November 1948.

Robert Wieland, 3110 South Hagadorn road, died at the Mason General hospital Sunday night after a long illness. He was born in Alaiedon township February 6, 1925, and was a member of the Farm Bureau. Survivors are the widow, Norma, the parents; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wieland; four sisters, Mrs. Martin Schmidt of Perry; Mrs. Loren Everett of Grand Rapids, Miss Mary Wieland of Lansing and Miss Trelia Wieland of Mason. Funeral services will be held from the Gorsline-Runciman funeral home Wednesday at 1 p.m. Rev. Harold Jayne of the Okemos Community church will officiate with burial in the Mt. Hope cemetery. The body will be at the house until Wednesday morning.

Norma married Raymond G. March 26 May 1950 in Lansing, Ingham County. She and Raymond (1916-1974) were divorced in 1950.
