Jeanne Kay Simmons, daughter of Robert W. (1918-2010) and Donna Jean (Daggett) (1921-2014), was born 28 March 1943 Ingham County, Michigan.  She graduated in 1961 from Okemos High School and married William Ray "Bill" Voss, OHS classmate, the same year.

JEANNE SIMMONS BECOMES BRIDE OF WILLIAM R. VOSS

Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Voss will be honored at a reception in late October at the Okemos Community church.  It will be given by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Voss of 4487 Dobie rd., Okemos.

They were married recently at the North Presbyterian church manse.

The bride is the former Miss Jeanne Kay Simmons of 3612 Newton rod., East Lansing.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Simmons of Jensen Beach, Fla.

Jeanne is a graduate of the Capitol Academy of Beauty Culture.

Bill and Jeanne moved to central Florida where Bill became a well-known Orlando barber.  The couple had 2 children.  Bill, born 23 January 1942, died of cancer 20 September 2003 Orange County, Florida.  No mention was made of Jeanne in Bill's 24 September 2003 Orlando Sentinel obituary.

Jeanne died 22 August 2004 Winter Park, Orange County, Florida.
