In Memoriam

Marjorie E. Hoeppner (Jarrad) - Class Of 1930

Marjorie E. Hoeppner, daughter of Otto K. (1882-1947) and Emma B. (Lietzke) (1885-1972) Hoeppner, was born 12 June 1911 Haslett, Ingham County, Michigan.  She graduated in 1930 from Okemos High School.

Otto, born in Germany, and Emma had 4 children.  Lillian, born in 1906 was accidentally poisoned and died in 1910. Raymond, born 1908, was killed in 1939 while underneath and repairing a car.  The vehicle fell on him.  Marjorie was born 1911.  Francis Otto was born 1913. 

 

Francis was killed in the tragic 1927 Bath School disaster. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Otto, Emma, Lillian and Francis Otto were interred Glendale Cemetery, Okemos, Ingham County.  Raymond was interred Leek Cemetery, Okemos.

Marjorie married, 30 June 1933, East Lansing, Clark Smith Jarrad.  Clark, born 27 October 1900 Michigan, died 6 January 1985, Shiawassee County, Michigan.  Marjorie died 8 August 1974 Owosso, Shiawassee County.  Clark and Marjorie were interred Rose Lawn Cemetery, Perry, Shiawassee County.
