Bear Lake, Michigan - Kevin E. Tribell class of 1970, age 73, of Bear Lake, Michigan, passed away on September 20, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1952, to Ken and Eileen Tribell.

Kev grew up in Okemos, Michigan and graduated from Okemos High School in 1970. He received his bachelor's degree from University of Wyoming.

Kev lived for the last 7 years in Bear Lake, Michigan, and previously called Black Hawk, South Dakota, home for 35 years. Prior to moving to South Dakota, he worked as a salesman for AC Delco. During his years in South Dakota, he owned and operated a milk route. His outgoing personality and natural ability to connect with people served him well in his sales career.

Those who knew Kev knew he was rarely content simply sitting on the sidelines. He was always the life of the party, with a personality that could fill a room. He danced on tables from Paul Revere's in East Lansing to Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans; Kev knew how to have a good time. He loved life and lived it fully.

Hunting and fishing were among Kev's greatest passions. The many mounts displayed throughout his home told the story of his love for the outdoors and the countless memories he made along the way.

Even when pain became a part of his life, Kev continued to find reasons to laugh, celebrate, and enjoy the people and experiences around him. Until the very end, he maintained that he had "had a wonderful life." Those words are perhaps the best reflection of the way Kev chose to live-with gratitude, humor, adventure, and a zest for life.

Kev is survived by his brother, Sky Tribell and Jill Tribell; his sister, Maggie Rosenzweig and Bob Rosenzweig; and his brother-in-law, Marc Neifert.

Kev will be deeply missed, but the stories, laughter, adventures, and memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He lived a full life, loved deeply, and knew how to have fun. Most of all, he left this world believing he had been fortunate enough to have had a wonderful life.
