
Heather Michelle Stringer class of 1991; of Atlanta, Georgia; passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014; at the age of 41. Heather was born February 14, 1973, in Royal Oak, Michigan, the daughter of Nicholas Michael Stringer and Nancy Kay (Cook) Stringer.
Heather grew up in Alma, graduated from Okemos High School, and studied Art and Psychology at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.
Heather had a beautiful spirit and immense joyfulness for life. She loved being an artist and was a very poetic, creative, soulful and giving person. She will be remembered for her compassion and caring spirit that extended to countless people and animals.
Heather found strength in her Christian faith and valued spiritual connections above all else. There was a special joy she found in connecting with those in need including caring for sick and unloved animals. Heather cherished being woven into the spiritual fabric of the universe and lived her life as a creative catalyst of love, positive energy and all things beautiful. She touched the hearts of many and will be forever missed. May her blessed spirit shine on forever.
Heather is survived by her mother, Nancy Stringer of Alma; brother, Sean Stringer of Charlevoix; and many loving relatives.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in St. Louis, MI. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service begins.
