Joyce, daughter of Royce Wilbur (1912-1975) and Helen Elizabeth (Burlingame) (1909-2008), was born 17 March 1935 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.  She died 2 May 1985 in Lansing and was interred Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.  Joyce's brother, David, and parents were also interred in Evergreen Cemetery.

Age 50, died May 2, 1985.  Born March 17, 1935 in Lansing, Mrs. Sheets was a graduate of Okemos High School, attended MSU and was secretary to the Michigan Legislature for the past 17 years.  She was preceded in death by her father, Royce W. Groh.  Surviving are 3 daughters, Kristin Helen, Valarie Mary and Annie Laurie, 1 son, Lawrence Scott, her mother, Helen E. Groh; brother, David and sister-in-law, Patricia of Dansville,; 1 niece and 1 nephew.  Funeral services will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman East Chapel, East Lansing with Rev. Joseph M. Graybill, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Dansville officiating.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
