Jeffrey Joseph Butler Jr. class of 2014, age 30, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away on June 7, 2026. Jeff was born on January 20, 1996, the only son of Rebecca and Jeffrey Joseph Butler Sr.

He graduated from Okemos High School with the Class of 2014 and continued his education at Northwest Community College where he earned his associate’s degree. Jeff was a kind man with a free spirit who enjoyed hiking and music. He was a good cat dad and will be remembered as being smart and funny.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Butler Sr. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Butler, and sisters, Brittany and Sydney Butler.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held from 2 - 5 pm on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Beggars Banquet located at 218 Abbot Road in East Lansing.
