Bryce Alan Feaster class of 1974, age 71, of Haslett, Michigan, passed away on September 29, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan. He was born on March 3, 1955, in Champaign, Illinois, and lived a life marked by humor, loyalty, and a deep love for the people and things that mattered most to him.
Bryce was the beloved son of Eileen Feaster and was preceded in death by his father, Robert Feaster, his stepmother, Kathy Feaster, his brother, Ricky Feaster, and stepbrother Joe Pennoni. He is survived by his siblings, Gary Feaster, Mary (Bob) Rau, Rebecca Feaster, Lisa Feaster, Paula Feaster, and Alex (Sue) Roenbeck. He is also survived by his stepbrothers, Marty, Mike, Rob, Larry, James, and Frank Pennoni. Bryce will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, Rilla, Sara (Andy), and Emily, his nephew Zeb, along with his great-nieces and great-nephews, Makala, Jeremiah, Mya, Ayla, and Hendrix. He also leaves behind his dear friends Deb Bartz and Debby Reeves, who held a special place in his life.
Bryce graduated from Okemos High School and went on to work as a cement truck driver for Boichot. He was known for his steady work ethic and for the pride he took in doing his job well.
He was a man who enjoyed life's simple pleasures and followed his favorite teams with enthusiasm. Bryce was a devoted fan of Michigan State University, the Red Wings, the Chicago Bears, and the Chicago Cubs. He also enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia, especially baseball and hockey cards. A trip to the beach was always something he appreciated, and he found joy in being near the water and enjoying time away from the everyday routine.
Bryce was a big animal lover, and his affection for dogs was especially strong. He loved his golden retriever, Buddy, who has passed, and that bond was one of the many reflections of his caring heart. He also loved cars, and he had a particular fondness for his Cadillac. He appreciated the style, character, and presence of a fine car, much like the way he carried himself through life.
He will be remembered most for his good sense of humor, his playful nature, and the way he could make people laugh. Bryce was funny, a prankster, and a joker, and he brought lightness and laughter to those around him. His personality left an impression on everyone who knew him, and his memory will continue to bring smiles to the faces of family and friends who loved him.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, 301 E. Jefferson, Grand Ledge, MI. Donations can be made in loving memory of Bryce to the Capital Area Humane Society.
