Dora Gunn was the daughter of Amos (1850-1895) and Emma (Ferguson) (1853-1928) Gunn. She was born 8 August 1875 in Michigan and, along with her sister Alice, attended the Okemos Union School until 8th grade. Dora was listed on the 1888 attendance roster for the Okemos Union School.

Dora married Ali Devier Olin on 18 September 1895 in Okemos, Ingham County, Michigan. The young couple were just beginning thier married lives together when Dora became ill. She died on 6 November 1899 at her home in Okemos. Ali interred her near her father in Glendale Cemetery, Okemos, her mother later being buried there also. The couple had no children.

Ali, born 2 August 1873 in Ingham County, Michigan. went on to marry again and raise a family. He succumbed to complications of diabetes on 16 August 1927, Ingham County. He too was interred Glendale Cemetery.
