Steven G. 'Yogi' York, brother, 1965

Worked for the Community NewsCenter, primarily at Frandor and Meridian Mall for nearly 30 years. Also worked for the BoarsHead Theater in Lansing, at the time Mid-Michigan's only professional theatre, for over 20 years as box office, backstage hand, archivist and Properties Designer for the last 13 seasons before its closure in 2000.

I was one of the original Someko Singers. I was an alto and Dan Weymouth ( also an original Someko SInger ) was a tenor, but through this time of body and voice changes, we could actually sing each others parts. Dan and I wrote, staged and performed our own stage presentation in the cafeteria as we did not have a performing arts stage. We both received summer music scholarship to MSU Summer Music Program, and the following year, we got our own performing arts center. I also performed in the first two plays at the auditorium built at the old high school, OLIVER! ( a dream come true performing with Bruce Reizen ) and TAKE A SHOE ( a nightmare that nearly made me give up on a life in the theatre. )
